Annual Hands For Hope Walk to Raise Funds for Autism Center

WHAT: Hands for Hope 2008: A Walk for Autism

WHEN: 2 p.m. April 13

WHERE: Willie McCool Track and Field, Coronado High School, 34th Street and Vicksburg Avenue

EVENT: The Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research at Texas Tech University will host its annual fundraising walk. Proceeds raised will benefit a $12 million building fund campaign to provide a permanent home for the Burkhart Center and a residential village for adults with autism.

Participants may register and pay entry fees individually or as a team online at www.burkhartcenter.org. Registration forms also may be submitted by mail to the Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research, Texas Tech College of Education, Attn: Hands for Hope Walk 2008, Box 41071, Lubbock, TX, 79409-1071.
